Privacy Policy
Asetrix ("we", "us") operates the asetrix.online data platform. This policy explains how we handle information in line with the Protection of Personal Information Act, 2013 (POPIA).
Information we process
- Account and tenant data: the organisation and contacts we contract with.
- Query data: the search terms and identifiers you submit to our services (e.g. a vehicle description).
- Usage data: API key, endpoint, timestamp, latency and request volume, used for billing and service quality.
How we use it
We process information to deliver the services you request, to meter and invoice usage, to secure the platform, and to comply with our legal obligations. We do not sell personal information.
Data sources & sharing
Vehicle and verification data is sourced from licensed providers including TransUnion and Kredo. When you use a service that calls an upstream provider, the minimum necessary query is shared with that provider to fulfil your request.
Retention & security
We retain usage records for as long as needed for billing, audit and legal purposes, then delete or anonymise them. Data is encrypted in transit, access is least-privilege, and API keys are stored only as salted hashes.
Your rights
Subject to POPIA, you may request access to, correction of, or deletion of personal information we hold. Contact privacy@asetrix.online.

We may update this policy; material changes will be posted here with a new "last updated" date.
